I have to admit I was one of those. It comes from so many times of hearing exaggerated predictions which have more to do with getting television ratings than anything else. Same goes for hearing hyperbolic predictions on this forum. But if you claim to be one of those who *knew* this was going to happen than you are a flat out liar. Not to mention classless for going there at a time like this. Stupid that this topic became more about winning a debate.

Rather than feeling like an idiot, I'm feeling pretty happy that my home didn't get destroyed on Sunday like so many others did even though the water made it to my front door step. Today I'll be spending the entire day without AC and water helping a friend who was not so lucky gut their house. What are you going to do? Sit on the couch and scratch yourself?
