I love Kevin, but it is really hard to hire a OL coach who has zero experience coaching or recruiting. The problem with his current position is he is neither coaching or recruiting. If he had taken any OL coaching job in Div I or II, I think he would be the next OL coach at LSU. Hell, even if he had coached a HS team, it might have been enough.
Most of the best coaches were not the best players. Only in the NBA do you see teams hiring former stars with no experience.
