Baseball - choke in playoffs every year 100% sure.
Football - recruit awesome talent but keep going to average bowls 100% sure.
Basketball- recruit awesome players and win one game in the NCAA tournament... maybe.

None. Only thing jj has is no title. Sure he will get LSU to final four and we lose again.

Welp, my confidence level in baseball just took a dive.
Pawl is a classic and as in classic I say when you look up the word in the dictionary his name is by it. Choker. He will never win another title at LSU. I have more confidence hell be fired in the next 3 years then wins a title in the next 5.

quote:Chavis had a solid track record. He didn't kick arse every year, but he fielded some good defenses. Steel has done nothing but suck on my balls every time he's been a DC.
2009 and the Chavis hire wants their argument back.
Who knows? Maybe Ed O can take over, rip off his shirt and slap them into gear, but my confidence level is not high.
And after watching OSU win the title with their 3rd string, Freshman QB, my opinion of our QB coaching is even lower.

actually if you use yards per play, Steele ' clemson defenses were very close to LSU'S yard per play
Using total defense isn't a great measuring stick because it's skewed by TOP and the offensive scheme. Chavis benefitted a lot from our offensive scheme. Even when our offense sucked, we still kept our defense off the field by using a ball controlled offense
