I sat w/ Gen. Richard, head of TAF, in the suite at baseball game yesterday. He had some very interesting things to say about LSU coaches etc. When Les Miles' name was brought up, he immediately mentioned his 18 million dollar buyout and said that amount "is crazy". He said he worked in the US Pentagon w/ Colin Powell and at the time he thought it was the worst place in the world to try to get things done b/c of the politics, then he got to LSU and realized LSU was even worse. He praised Coach Manieri saying he was just the perfect guy for the job. He also had good things to say about Coach Johnson. Said he talked to him after the midweek game and said he's holding up very well despite a tough season. He said he ran into him after the game and said to him "you look like an angry black man" and Johnson responded back "I am an angry black man". Gen. Richard commented that LSU has "no talent" other than Taz and Johnson needs some time to get some talent in here. I just found it funny that he openly praised 2 coaches, yet said nothing positive about Miles and bitched about his buyout. Good insight into how the LSU administration feels about Miles.

I'm not getting into all this he said/she said bullshite you guys apparently can't stop doing every hour of every day, but you can't seriously compare Miles situation to Meyer's in 2007?

If so, you have to be the dumbest MF alive. Meyer has been at UF the same amount of time as Miles at LSU. Answer this: How many 13+ wins seasons does Meyer have? How about Les? How many seasons has Meyer won less than 9 games? How about Les? How many times has Meyer lost 5 games in a season? How about Les?

Then is that why it goes from one person's comments (Richard) to multiple (higher ups)? Kinda of makes one think that someone has an agenda and changes context and content to fit their story.

It's called bitching over a season that resulted in a NC and none of your whining over the method used changes the fact that however it happened, it happened. You can piss on the team as much as you want, but I will just thank all involved at LSU for giving me another NC.

I know you are a, my glass is half empty guy, but the SEC title win was more important than the Hog loss. If your personal agenda against Miles prevents you from seeing that, that's your problem and not mine.
