I tried to start this thread earlier in the week (ESPN: Is Les Miles Smarter than a 1st Grader), but I think it got whacked becaue it was gone as soon as I posted it.
A friend of mine who is an Assistant Principal at a local school got a call from ESPN on Monday asking if they could do this piece at her school; she refused.

They also said, "Maybe the first of 4-5 losses for LSU to end the year." Then Herbstreit chimed in, "Absolutely". But...we're just being negative. No one else thinks Les is a joke and has LSU going down the wrong path.

i think 8-4 / 7-5 is a little irrational...9-3 seems more realistic IMO with 10-2 a possibility with our bad-arse defense

we may very well lose 4-5 games..but Herbstreit has said this every year about LSU...out of all the sources to use...he is the worst for your example

It wasn't an example, it was what was said. Davis is actually the one who said the start of a slide of 4-5 losses and historically he's been by far LSU's biggest supporter on Gameday.
