Mathis, our smiling third base guy, was the only infielder on the left hand side of the diamond and he was playing about where the SS normal stands.
So when the batter put down the bunt towards third base, there was nobody there to field the ball.
We didn't put a shift on again the rest of the game.

Indiana put a shift on every time Beloso came to bat.
On their shift they left the third baseman playing just slightly to his left of his normal position, but still near third base.
Their second baseman played in short right field about 20 steps onto the right field grass and toward the foul line and their SS played on the first base side of second base.
