Coach, you came here and implored us

To trust “The Process.”
We were force fed “The Path.” We now know the Path is riddled with dog sh!t.
You implored us to come early, be loud, contribute financially. We did that in spades. You, yourself, contributed. Kudos.
Then, you told us - ad nauseum - that you’ve been doing this for a long time….that players have to play better….that coaches have to coach better….that we were spoiled.
What you didn’t tell us is that you’re aloof…..that you came here to collect a paycheck and mail it in - on our dime.
This is why we now despise you. It is painfully apparent now that all our issues since you got here can be traced to your inability to give much of a sh!t because, in reality, you knew you’d get paid regardless. You say you care, but if you truly did, you would’ve addressed the Matt House problem earlier, you would’ve addressed the Joe Sloan problem earlier, you’d probably have done more due diligence before you hired your staff, ESPECIALLY your coordinators. If you truly cared, you wouldn’t give a flaming rat’s arse if you hurt Garrett Nussmeier’s
feelings by benching him far sooner because you’d care about the success of this team over the fragile ego of your starting QB that may not be able to start at an FCS program right now.

If you truly cared, your players would see it, act like it, and - shocker - PLAY BETTER.

GTFO. We don’t want you here anymore. You have ruined a lot of folks’s enjoyment of their first love. You have ruined a lot of athletes. You have ruined your own legacy.
