Recruiting problem. Once again it comes back to Stud and Les

The interior OL was way to small, but it's not a recruiting problem. You have Alex Hurst and Will Blackwell, both of whom are over 6-4 and 320 lbs minimum, both on the bench. There are probably some other o-linemen who I am not mentioning that are also very large. The problem is not recruiting, the problem is Stud not putting forth any effort towards deciding who to start and just going with seniority. The main reason I would want a new o-line coach would be so that all our players would be re-evaluated and actually have to compete for the starting job.

It's like the guy completely fricking forgot how to block. Not to mention he turned his body into that of a fat DT.

Leads Tigers with 83 knockdown blocks, which included a season-best 10 in wins over Georgia and Louisiana Tech ... Had at least seven knockdowns in six other games, including eight in overtime win over Arkansas ... Graded out at 88 percent in four games – Washington, Georgia, Tulane and Louisiana Tech.

Yeah, sounds like a real shitty lineman that just like completely forgot how to fricking block right there

Do you really think he would have been voted 1st team all sec if he "forgot how to block"

this thread was intended for mindless coach trashing...not objective analysis

Miles really couldn't control what happened with all the linemen that left. Also, there is NO BLAME on the coach's shoulders for Ciron Black this year. It's like the guy completely fricking forgot how to block. Not to mention he turned his body into that of a fat DT.

I guess SEC coaches saw something different when they made him all SEC this year.
