It’s hard to argue your point. We all want him to succeed.. it’s hard to believe it can happen with the coordinators we have in place. For him to be successful, he needs big time coordinators. That’s just not practical over the long haul. It’s just a matter of time for him. Hope we are wrong.

Show some heart goddamnit! We need to win games as big underdogs! But if we do win those games it will be because we were actually the better team all along so it won't mean anything! Bench Bledsoe for Brady!
Oh wait, Brady came in when Bledsoe got hurt and put up pedestrian numbers until getting injured himsf in the AFC championship game at Pittsburgh at which point Bledsoe led the Patriots to a win?
This guy is a living caricature of the most block headed offshore trash fans

How can anyone make that judgment. O put together the best season in LSU’s history. We lost 30+ player mostly 1st and 2nd string players. Key players and we lost a DC and a passing coordinator which was really a co offensive coordinator also . Add the lack of practice due to COVID-19 as well as several key players that did return opting out for the season. This is what people are going by to determine if O is it or not. If I went to any school Alabama,Clemson,Ohio state, any college and took their 1st and 2nd string and both coordinators and limited them to a quarter of their practices, I can guarantee you They would have a shitty season. O deserves a chance to rebuild his team and staff. He needs a couple of years to rebuild and get his team back in order.

A lot of if's and almost in that paragraph..... Also, Debo didn't go 3-7 after winning a natti ever. He took a forever losing program and made them into a gold star brand. Coach O took the reigns of a team that if you went 8-4 there was trouble. Not even close to the same thing.... Nice try dumb, dumb.
There was two IFs in one "saying" and zero almost but nice try. Clearly why you are an idiot. Dabo took an 8-4 school in a weak conference and had a losing season in year 3. LSU was 8-4 the previous 4 years which is why les was fired, in the hardest division in CFB. He was 8-4 and couldn't get over the hump because he didn't have OL, DL, or QB to compete in the SEC. You not giving O credit for Burrow calling him a generational talent but he was a 3 star recruit who couldn't win a starting job and only transfer options were LSU and Cinn. If he goes to Cinn he is no higher than a 5th rd pick. If he doesn't give Brady a shot, he is still an analyst for the saints. No one wanted these guys. But frick yeah, throw generational in front their names and its no longer Os success. Just idiotic.

I believe O will right the ship. If that means hiring new coordinators he will do it. He will make the changes necessary. He knows he can’t be successful without good coordinators.
This season is a scratch. He will be given enough time to rebuild. Those of you calling for his head need to chill. He isn’t going anywhere for 2-3 years.
And I was one who didn’t want O in the first place when he was hired.

If you lead any company let me know because I would never invest in it. I couldn’t imagine having an employee win so big the go to sleep for so long and get a pass like this. We act like only LSU is enduring Covid. You guys are a bunch of mouth breathers.

Look at the draft, coaches, etc.
So does O not get credit for that?

Quite a few professions actually.
Sounds like you have an hourly job working the McDonalds drive-thru.

No other team lost >30 players and is down to ~59 overall. That level of roster turnover is unprecedented, throw in Covid and you have a perfect shite storm.
Look, I understand that you're a very simple person and you can't avoid knee-jerk overreactions, but some people (like the ones who write your tiny paychecks) are able to compartmentalize and enact long-term strategies: e.g. the man who has accomplished more than you'll ever dream of is building top 5 recruiting classes for the next two seasons while you, the anon message board loser, is melting over a joke, asterisk season. That's natural selection

Yeah I run a company with a little over 100 employees. I have two directors, 10 department heads, various supervisors under the heads and roughly 85 general staff members. Most of my employees have been with me for 3-4 years and knew our system very well. Before covid we were a well oiled machine. Due to covid and various other reasons I lost a director, 3 department heads, and most of my supervisors. On top of that I lost 43% of my general staff. My ownership group made me shut down from March to August, they kept moving our re open date but wouldn't let me train my new employees. I was able to rehire about 30% of my staff but im still short 17% of my typical staff count. Owners finally set a reopen date and gave me 30 fricking days and limited time to train my replacement director, dept heads, supervisors and staff. Since reopening we started of slow with so much turnover and we certainly have our work cut out for us but 2021 will be a good year for our company.
Sound familiar? Unfortunately many business are experiencing this exact scenario. Including LSU football.

that's a loser's mindset... In what job do you get 3 years to do your job? You must do government work.
This is the mindset that Nebraska used to fire a couple of coaches coming off an 8 and a 9 win season. After 3 disastrous hires out of their last 4 tries, that fanbase would love to get back to 8 or 9 wins right now.
You can bitch and whine on a message board all day, but your 5 year old temper tantrum won’t change the fact that O isn’t going anywhere until 2022 barring another losing season. With normal schedules the next two seasons, that is a virtual impossibility. But if he doesn’t win more than 7 in 21 and 22, he would be in big trouble and might be fired by then.
Feel free to waste all the time you want on this between now and then, but it won’t matter.

Florida 2017.
Auburn 2017.
Miami 2018.
Georgia 2018.
Alabama 2019 felt like an upset because we lost seven regular season games in a row to them.

No we all expect 16-0 next year...the problem is fans like you and your limited knowledge of the game and winning programs.
