Coach O is statistically one of the best coaches in America.

Orgeron’s LSU teams are now 5-1 against top-10 teams since the start of last season, with seven wins against AP top-10 opposition since 2016; only Nick Saban and Urban Meyer have more. Didn’t believe in O at first, but I don’t see how anyone doesn’t now.

I believe in LSU
I believe LSU puts O in a good position to succeed, and as long as O makes smart decisions with his staff he will have tons of success.
That being said, this number includes Miami who was like 7-6 last year.

Miami and Auburn weren't top 10 teams last year, and UCF didn't have their starting QB and aren't a top 10 team without him.
This year we've seen a drastic change, but there's still half the season to go.

Now go back and do this for Saban and Urban.
Or, just accept it.

O has put himself in that position by hiring the right people for his staff.

O has put himself in that position by hiring the right people for his staff.
And LSU has given him an enormous budget to do so. Most schools don't give you 2.5 million for a coordinator, and don't let you buyout a 1.7 million dollar OC in year one. We also pay our other assistants well.
They also gave him a solid foundation to build on player wise, and LSU give any coach a great recruiting opportunity in a fertile state with no P5 in state rivals.
Were a good football school
OUr last 2 HCs won NCS
You can't win if you are a bad HC, but lets not pretend we are Vanderbilt and O is a magician.
There are only so many schools that give a HC a chance at winning a NC. LSU is one of them.
