No one's parodying diabetes. The man in the pictures is Wilford Brimley, who appears in advertisements for Liberty Medical Diabetes Testing Supplies. The joke is making light of the way Brimley pronounces diabetes -- he says "DIE-uh-bee-tus," as it's spelled.
No one thinks diabetes is funny -- they're making light of the way in which Brimley pronounces it.

My original unsuccessful attempt.

I have to disagree. The thread title is "Coach I'm really tired." This is one of the symptoms of the disease. Therefore, the use of Will B. was to tie the thread title to Diabetes and use it as a joke. There is no connection to the thread for a pic of Will B, w/o the fact that it's his ad about Diabetes.
Instead of trying to understanding my posts and consider removing it, just to be compassionate, I was mocked for my feelings about it.
I stand by my comments.
I'll put my party personality up with anyone.
But I think that this is uncalled for, and will not be ridiculed to think otherwise. Ya'll have a great day.
