Why is it your job and so many others on this board to constantly trash him? How is that any fun being so negative all the time? Why is it productive to degrade the LSU coaching staff and program?

i "trash" him because i don't like the direction the program is going and i care more about LSU than les miles feelings.

let's say i didn't criticize les on here, would that make this board any more "productive" at this point? what do you suggest we do on this board?

I know that speaking out against the bashers makes me sound like an "apologist" but its hard to read negativity all the time. I have not been happy at the direction of the program but I also see that some changes have been made. I think this board would be better if someone introduced a football discussion topic without the same tards immediately posting "he is an idiot" "dumb" "larry coker" etc. Why do you think that is necessary and productive?

i agree there should be substance behind posts about Coach Miles, whether they praise him or criticize him. My point is that a thread or post bashing him is not exactly counterproductive as long as the poster voices his opinion in a passionate way while maintaining a semblance of reason. This is a place for people to not only discuss LSU football, but also vent their frustrations with it.

I know that and that is why I enjoy this board. I just think things are taken to the extreme on both sides of the spectrum when it comes to comments about Miles.

I feel that last season is over and everything that can be said, has been said...over and over and over.

That horse. It's dead. It's been dead. It's not getting any deader.

Totally agree. It gets harder reading the same drivel over and over.

i agree, which is why i've taken the "he better get it done this year or he's gone" approach lately. old habits kicked in on this thread though. they do die hard.

I'd give Miles around year especially when JJ is a junior. I'm not going to give up hopes on the direction on the program just because of two bad years

It don't matter, some people like Miles, some don't, I just think his style of play belongs at a school like Michigan, while Rodriquez, well just think what he could do with all that talent LSU has at QB.

I wonder what the opinion of this board would be if we had finished that drive against Penn State and won the bowl game...

if he hadn't of made a boneheaded call on the drive we might have finished it.

well he squandered great field position when we only needed a field go to win. we were at our own 41 with 48 seconds to go, and lord miles went with a bubble screen to the middle of the field with no timeouts to lafell for a fantastic four yard gain. were you not watching the game and not having ole miss flashbacks?
