If moving from a probable first day pick to the 3rd or 4th round = looking good then 'yes'. Lattimore's doing great.
probable first day pick? if lattimore hadn't blown his other knee out, he was having a good enough season this past year to show scouts his knee injury the previous year hadn't affected him. he wasn't just a 1st day pick but a 1st round draft pick prior to blowing his knee out against UT

so you are saying that its a good riskreward scenario to take a minimum wage nfl job now and be stuck with it for 4 or 5 years instead of coming back to LSU and being a 2nd round draft choice next year. thats stupid to me. injuries are a part of the game and you can't run away from them.
anyone know the $$$$ difference in the two scenarios. I'll say $2-4 million over 4 or 5 years
depending on where you are drafted in 2 nd round.
But if he get injured next year he is done. Not even league minimum. He isn't running away from injuries, but he gets injured in the NFL he makes some money, more than enough to finish his degree at LSU.

He can get hurt whether or not he goes to NFL. He could make NFL minimum and get hurt and be done for good. He may not even make a team or he could be one and done. He should have come back to LSU and increased his draft stock. It is not smart for most players to declare unless they are in the first 3 rounds.
