Ok. But each singular game gets more important as we go along. So yea it’s a big deal when you need a sweep and you only get 2 (maybe one).

Best hitter in the country Berry = out of the lineup

Money = horrible past few results but usually gives you at least two innings (no outs)

Defense = biggest kryptonite of this team. This is where we loss against inferior athletic opponents

All three happened tonight. That gives this team about a 40% chance to win.

Let’s see how they respond. If they win tmw then a road series win, is a road series win. I know there’s talk about sweeps, but when on the road, a series win is a win. Ask TN.

Everyone overreacts so much. Last night we looked like a team that may reinjure beloso’s knee from dogpiling in Omaha.

Tonight we looked like the favorite regional host to lose to the four seed. Relax. There is truth to ‘it’s just baseball’.

I’ve watched enough over the years to know that we actually have the potential this year. For how bad money looked tonight, Floyd has replaced him and has the experience.

Baseball is the most fluid sport which is why it’s so great!

I get what you’re saying but you cannot expect this team to sweep its way through the rest of the season. They are not the 2008 team. Shame on you if you set yourself up for that.

And for the other guys basically calling for JJ’s head - that is absurd. That is what I define as “chicken littles” who are acting unreasonably right now.

It took Mainieri a throw away season (2007) to get us to the aforementioned 2008 season. And then a year after that they took two out of 3 against Texas to win #6.

I would not call this year a throw away. Not yet, at least.

That is the inevitable and predictable result when one's identity is inextricably intertwined with the exploits of young men, whom one does not know, who play a game.
