I will support whoever is coaching the Tigers...
even if I do not like him.

To constantly express negativity towards the coach is indirectly harming the Tigers.

There has been a lot of LSU coaches I did not like, but I never expressed resentment openly ... it would not have helped the team.

Anything that weakens the coach in any way, weakens the team.

Damn Right I Do!!! Coach O bleeds P&G, works his arse off, has shown significant growth as a HC in one year, has put an improved product on the field, is known as an excellent recruiter, treats his players with fairness & tough love and sincerely sees LSU as his dream job so Let's Give Him A Fair Shot To Get The Job Done! He inherited an LSU program in decline since 2011 with roster deficiencies and imbalances and I am very optimistic he will win some championships in Tiger Town! Go Tigers!!!

You think O was a better hire last year than Jimbo would have been. Look in the mirror if you want to see an idiot. Jimbo has coached a team to a NC and another team to the playoffs. O couldn't coach a team to beat fricking Troy at home. Jimbo has proved he can win big games and lead teams to a NC and conference titles. O hasn't proved shite.

With all the coaching changes and O going into his third year as the man calling the shots for LSU football, 2018 is going to be a very important year for O. He with match wits with Jimbo, Saban, Richt, Gus, Smart, and a Mullen at Florida. You are nuts if you think that schedule of coaches couldn't well seal O's fate.

I support him but Jimbo>>>> Coach O. And Mullins at Florida, hell if he can win 8 at Miss ST. O beating Jimbo, Mullin, and Saban all the same year to get to the ATL is going to be hard

Did you really read my post and in your mind come up with this being the reason I called you an idiot???

quote:

Jimbo has coached a team to a NC and another team to the playoffs

He took what is probably the most talented team in the ACC this season to a highly respectable 5-6 record. Would have been a great hire for LSU. Probably would have been 3-8 at LSU in the SEC.

quote:

O couldn't coach a team to beat fricking Troy at home

Good point. Since that was the last game of the season there was no way to recover from that and beat one of the teams playing in the SEC championship game today. Lets cry about that game for years to come, okay?

quote:

Jimbo has proved he can win big games and lead teams to a NC and conference titles.

Was it the 7-point win over Duke or the 7-point win over Wake Forest that was the BIG game? I don't think it was his 3-point win over Syracuse, but I may be wrong. Syracuse was pretty good this year.

O hasn't proved shite.

Has proved he is a great recruiter. Has proved he can make good to great hires and fires. Has proved he can lead a team at rock bottom to a winning record, national ranking and bowl game, while going 6-1 to finish the season.

He with match wits with Jimbo, Saban, Richt, Gus, Smart, and a Mullen at Florida. You are nuts if you think that schedule of coaches couldn't well seal O's fate.

He matched wits with some of those coaches in his first full year as the LSU HC this season. LSU's lines will be much better next year. Next season will not seal Eaux's fate. That is bullshite made up by you.

If you're scared, say you're scared, bitch.

Coach O was not the exciting hire I was hoping for, but I was ok with it with the hope that his hire would work out. I
support LSU no matter what, and that means I give full support for the head coach.
There is still many questions that coach O has to answer if
he is going to stay around, but like this year from losing to Troy to watching the team get better each week he and this team must improve. Lets see where it goes from here.

Coach O gets three seasons to show what he can do. In late November of 2019 we will know whether O is our longterm leader.

In the meantime, all this absurd talk negative about O from those of us who thought his hire was a mistake is hurting LSU. So I am all in with LSU Football and Coach O because that is what is best for LSU at this point.

I think O did a great job. Will have to keep Aranda and a top offensive coordinator to compete with Saban, Mullin, Jimbo and Malzahn every year!!

I'm behind him because he is our coach. I wish we had pursued an up-and-coming coach, but he's ours now.

Why do they have to be one in the same?
LSU "fans" couldn't stand the last coach but supported the program.
