LSU will win easily, whether it needs its 100 passing yards or not.

then Les Miles is the biggest idiot in college football. Why would he do this with Peterson, yet the perfect wildcat QB has been on LSU's campus for 2 years and he refuses to use it with Russell Shepard?

Could Shep handle the direct snap?

I want to see Shepard, Ridley, and Ford/Ware/Blue run the trip option at least once.

This. PP is on the field long enough with special teams and the D. The kid is having hydration issues already. Maybe this cool fall air will help him.

It's not like the problem on offense is lack of talented athletes.

Yeah, but it's not like you're going to put a receiver in the wildcat formation.

I'd love to see him throw at least once.

We have more talent on the field that is wasted than any other team in the country.
Our coaches are so inept that they have been unable to get the ball to 3 players that were top at their positions in HS - all 5 stars. We even have a 5 star RB sitting on the bench.

Peterson on offense is BS. He already gets cramps from DB play and returning punts. Why risk another julio jones type of play with him out of the game?

Peterson is built better than shepard for being the Wildcat QB. Shep should run the motion across the formation as the "sweep man".

Peterson at 220 lbs will be able to run inside and if they bite on the fake, he's gone. If they have it covered, he can still bang forward for 8-10 yards and take the pounding.

At every other aspect EXCEPT running wildcat, I agree. All this Shep will get hurt up the middle crap, I'm not saying take 20+ snaps in the wildcat, but if he can't take 4-5 hits in this formation, he would not have been recruited. You guys act like he has brittle bones. Common frickin sense (not the poster who has none)

no shite...we cant even get the ball to our other great athletes enough time...and they want to add another?...
shep should be running and throwing out of the wild cat...throwing to TT and RR and running with Ware and Ridley...
