Cfb play off rankings - face it we just hired a DLine coach as head coach

Hiring a Dline coach as head coach took the shine off the tigers, no matter how much the Louisianians wanted to hire a coach O, nobody in college football is impressed with the hire.
Face it ranters. Its the truth. The media has spent the past week bashing us (outside of La) for hiring coach O as head man.
If we had hired Fisher or Herman we would be higher than 21. We did not make the "sexy" hire.

At one time Miles was an OL coach. At least we are not paying a crap load of money to an unproven Herman who coached in a weak conference. No one was beating down the door to come here. The job has been open for a very long time.

You're going to get murdered by the O loving alligator eaters on this board but I absolutely think there's some truth to this. If LSU had a respected coach like Meyer, Harbaugh, or Saban; we'd get the benefit of the doubt in these rankings. Definitely wouldn't be in the playoffs but would be top 15

This has nothing to do with the hire of Coach O. Head to head LSU lost to Auburn. The Florida loss was the real killer though. Pretty simple. With all due respect, I think you're wrong. I have no problem with the Citrus Bowl projection. It's a New Years Eve game. I'll take it.
