Probably the plan.
Cameron can just be like..not resigned i guess. His contract is up. Last time Les needed to make a big coordinator hire to save his job he got Chief..and saved his job. So hopefully that happens again because if so things are looking up.

Hard for me to take a stance on Cameron. Who knows what he could do if given control of the offense. No way.. NO WAY you get 3 or 4 or even 5 coordinators that run the freaking toss dive. Sooner or later you have to step back and say.. Hey maybe its me? Bradley Dale has got to go. Regardless of how good he recruits he is the worst special teams guy in the WORLD. I've seen high school guys that could do a better job.

tbh cam got fired in baltimore for many of the same reasons LSU is struggling. Some of it's on les, some of it's on him. Whoever is teaching Brandon Harris how to play QB is doing a terrible job, if nothing else.
