Me too, not that there is a real choice. It's the policy and there is zero that will change it. I don't know that it's all a PETA deal. The last Mike didn't like it and they decided not to force it. I think that had a lot to do with the decision to discontinue luring the tiger into the trailer. It's no longer up for debate.

No longer up for debate my arse! Its an incredible tradition, and we need to purge this administration and bring in people with the balls to bring it back.

The main thing is you can't shoot fireworks when Mike is in the stadium. That's what likely spooked VI.

But if losing the on-field tradition means that we can continue the tradition of even having a live tiger, then I’m willing to accept it.

This guy gets it

Geez.... Do you also think a new administration is going to go against what is recommended by Dr. Baker? If you do, then you're foolish.

Then replace the people with decision making power.
As much as I respect Dr. Baker, if that means him too then so be it.

You want to replace the guy in charge of caring for Mike because he won't support bringing him on the field in a trailer? Any replacement worth his or her salt will agree with Baker, so you'd have to get some crappy vet for that which would not be in the best interest of Mike, but what the hell. It isn't Mike that matters. It's the tradition that matters, right?

Good gosh, man.

Thank God it’s not as bad for humans. It would wipe out the Bama fan base. Hmmm...on 2nd thought...

Wrestling a tiger would be fun?

You think you'd just get your arse whipped? You would die rather quickly. Your idea of fun is death?

I think we may have identified the dumbest person on this site.

You’re a dumb S.O.B.

You probably posted all of that crap of yours while wearing your white oakley’s and your white, untied, hi-top jordan’s.

Thank God dumbasses like you aren’t in charge of anything. THAT’S not debatable.

No, the MAIN thing is that LSU has applied for official sanctuary status. In order to satisfy the requirements, there can be no more trips to the stadium on game day.

Having sanctuary status will allow LSU to carry on the tradition of a live tiger mascot on campus into the future.

Nah, people like the firecrackers and pumped in music more. We became like everyone else and have lost that battle.

No! For the hundredth time (and possibly more), NO. LSU has repeatedly said since the start of the process of finding this Mike, and since he has gotten here, that this tradition is gone, done, over with, never to come back again no matter how much people ask or how well this or any future Mike does with his health and behavior.

So you're saying there is a chance...
