Until someone is willing to pony-up the billions in revenues that conferences would lose in a non-bcs system, it ain't happenin'.

It's just plain dumb to say "i want no part of a split title"! IF we loose its a series split and both teams would well be in they're eight to claim it....unless the bcs would like to give us a rubber match. I will gladly take the prestige and success in recruiting that goes along with a national championship......that is all.

if you claim any part of a "national championship" without actually winning it that's pathetic end of story

I think the BCS is a pathetic system. Sagarin won't release his algorithm, which is shady as hell. Who's to say he or people who pay him lots of money aren't juicing the system? Why do the coaches even have a vote? Do you think they are completely objective? If you buy into the BCS as the only legitimate metric, that's kinda sketchy too.
