purple jerseys on the 30th. don't get me wrong, i would never change tradition. i mean, i love the white jerseys, but the purple home jerseys take me back to my youth when i used to attend the games as a kid.

I wear a purple jersey to the games, but I still like the team wearing white.

Sorry to ask this, but when does LSU decide to wear purple at home? Is it only OOC games?

I'm still shocked LSU "fans" don't know the jersey rules and when LSU wears white or purple. LSU as home team has choice of white or purple for SEC games. LSU must get permission to wear white for non-conf. games. At this point, nothing has been released as to what jersey color LSU will be wearing for App. St. game. LSU must get their permission to wear white. Herb Vincent said on Buddy's show last week that LSU will wear white. Although someone said equipment manager said its not set yet.
Since Saban, LSU traditionally wears white for the home opener and purple for all other non-conf. home games.

Game is for 4pm, why would LSU wear purple and let App St wear white.

Holy shite. We need to make a sticky post on LSU uniform rules. Its very simple, please memorize it.
As stated above, LSU must get permission from non-conference teams to wear white. Its NOT our decision, we have to ask App.St. to LET us wear white. They may decide not to allow us b/c they don't want to wear black.

we only wore purple against oregon state because they wouldn't give permission. remember last season we opened up in white against VT at home and the year before that against ULL.
if this game were to take place in the middle of the season then we'd def. be wearing purple. remember home opener and sec opponenets=white (unless permission is not given).
out of conference opponents that are not the home opener=purple.
