What the frick does this mean?

"Eligible" academically does not mean that Lee did everything in the classroom that was expected by the coaching staff. The rumors (and they are just that) are that Lee was skipping classes. I don't know that for sure. It has been hinted, reported, rumored, contradicted, had JJ added to it, joked about, denied, obfuscated, etc.

For whatever reason - the 2 INTs against Bama, the fact that JJ was going to get back to #1 eventually, these rumored academic transgressions, attitude, bad practices, whatever - the coaches, who personally have millions of dollars of their money on the line (bonuses, not gambling) have decided that JJ gives LSU the best chance for victory, at least with the start and JL as the change up.

I understand some people like Lee's style of play - he is a more traditional pocket passer and when he's on, he's on. But when he's bad, he's spectacularly bad. JJ has streaks and slumps, but is a little more predictable and even. I guess he is the QB for the "play not to lose" strategy that has worked 13 times already this season (and, yes, Lee was that guy for at least half of those).

Miles quotes are always entertaining, and a great way to pass time during off weeks!

You are right about Miles being entertaining. I was referring to the QB(s) topic in general - I can't wait until JJ and JL posts are a thing of the past!

Miles should be a politician. He can answer a question and absolutely give nothing away other than what he wants. Wonder if there is a school that could teach someone Miles speak. Whenever he talks i try to concentrate on what he says so maybe i will get it, alas does't work. My pop always told me actions speak louder than words, guess it holds true with Miles as well.

Miles is just dancing around stupid and potentially disruptive questions from the media and people who want to create devisive issues. it has become obvious to me that, from the second quarter of bama 1 on, the staff and team leaders have gone all in for JJ. the staff and team feel that if they do their jobs JJ will do his and if they don't, at least JJ has the physical mobility to make something positive happen. all the positive karma that the good JL produced early was, unfortunately, wiped out by the negative karma that the bad JL exhibited in tuscaloooser. sucks huge....but it is what it is.

Les Miles loves all of his kids equally....but he isn't, this close to attaining the programs collective goal, going to make decisions based on emotion or the needs of one of those kids. it is the most pragmatic approach and it gives us all the best chance to see LSU lift the crystal.

Well if it starts like the Georgia game . You better make a cover bet . Because bama will play 60 minuites like that . There will be no comeback. Georgia missed a few catches that would have given them a 28 to 0 lead . Do you think Bama will miss that ?? No . I look for the winner of this game to have to be able to score 35 points or more. I know what I am saying , but both teams are that good !! It will not be a fg and punt kind of a game .
JJ will have to be at his best . But if he is the same JJ that played the 1st Bama game , it will be a long long evening for you and me .JJ will have to be on target , none of his into the ground in front of the recievers none of his wyld over the reciever passes . He cannot take a hit 5 yards deep, he has to manage the plays as well as produce the big plays . JJ can make history , but it is JJ's game to win or lose. That is a fact . Here is to JJ making History

They blew a few field goals. Do you think Bama is mistake proof?

I know what I am saying

Now that's funny I don't care who you are.

Look if you are afraid of Bama say so.
If you think Nickie is a better coach than Les say so.
If you want JL to play come out and say so.
