They're also typically more mobile which helps with trying to reach block an outside defender.

There was nothing wrong with the formation. The problem was in the execution.

yeah that might have been the play.



I'm pretty sure that was a quick snap play with no subs so that is what you have to do there. But also, a two-tight-end set is a benchmark option alignment so on a 3 to-go scenario. It forces the defense to account for those guys as a receiver and not sell out on the run.
