even before yesterday, UGAs rush defense was third to last in the SEC. what bama did was nothing special.
heres a better question: how did the god nick saban, the best coach in football and a defensive genius, have 350 yards rushing (512 yards of offense) and only win by 4? how did he almost lose?

They WON when it counted most. In the 4th quarter. He did the same thing at LSU more than a few times.

Yep. OL was the killer.
The way to beat a straight 3-4 (what Georgia runs) is running up the middle.
GA nose tackle could not soak up more than one blocker, the center. Guards were able to slam the inside LBs. Bama used three WR at times, which appears to have taken the DBs out of run game support.

LSU lacks a true deep WR. We seem to have three slot type receivers. RR leaving early hurt.
Hopefully, one or both of the JC WR can step in and really help with the vertical game. Both are over 6-3, big and fast.
