Is he capable? Absolutely. His arm is a notch below BH, but similar speed, and very accurate with his throws and an uncanny ability to get through his reads and progressions quickly. I think if he gets drafted this summer by MLB he goes that route.

Yes, and yes. Some of his highlights have the Wildcat package in there, and he got work at Barbe in the spring when their QB was playing baseball. Some of the other schools recruiting him were wanting to put that package in for him. But he is not ready to be an SEC QB today by any means. Has the IQ for it for sure!

Rettig hardly got a look, I doubt Foster will.
So instead of having a little patience with HR in learning to take a snap under Center, they run him off because he couldn't quite run fast enough. (Which is apparently now the Number One required attribute for being a QB at LSU)
