This isn’t a post to down Cam Lewis, but saying props to him for sticking around for his 6th season of LSU football.

He has never started and probably never will get the opportunity to, but he’s always been a consistent player on special teams and adds experienced depth at safety.

One of the first things I checked when the new roster released earlier this month was actually to see if he was sticking around. I wish he could get an interception or some type of big play this season

He meant a 100% Les miles player meaning 2016 class. The ‘17 class with Harris was re-recruited/held together by O.

And yeah that is wild to think about. And it seems like Cam has been here even long than Anthony and Logan. One of those rare situations where a scholly guy just loves his environment and never transfers. He’s like the Van Wilder of LSU football.

I’ll always be thankful we had him in 2019 because he ended up having to play a decent number of snaps in the championship game and he played well. I always thought of Eric Monroe anytime I thought of Cam just like I always thought about Ray Thornton anytime I though of Andre Anthony.

Props to him for sticking around. A great mentor to have for the younger guys and a great depth player.

Like someone else said, hope he can get a big play this season.
