Butler came damn close to beating a good Tenn team in the tourney last year, should be a great game.

Here's another possible example of Bradyball:

LSU vs UAB in 2005: Definitely thought we would beat them. Still don't fully understand what happened in that game.

Brady should be fired after that UAB game in 2005, IMO.

He was like a deer looking at the head light

Right at that moment, I knew that Brady was way in over his head at LSU. Too bad, LSU kept him for 3 more years.

Any decent HC could take the LSU 2006 to the FF (credit GT and his AAU team)

As far as a scouting report goes, they run an extremely efficient offense rooted in fundamentals that is rarely used on any level of basketball anymore--very little one on one

First off, good scouting report.

This could actually be good for LSU that they use very little one on one.

LSU actually #1 in the entire nation in "percentage of field goals coming via assist" lol.

I know that's an odd stat, but it tells me LSU is pretty good with help D and forcing guys to use 1 on 1 dribble penetration(feeding into Chris Johnson) as opposed to teams using passes to get open looks.

This is gonna be a real tough matchup.

I see it as a close game in the low 60s going either way.

We need to go to Taz early and often in this game. We really need to get him in the flow early if we're going to win this game. I think he has a great matchup advantage.

I see this as a good test before the Carolina game, damn, wish we could of played them in the Sweet Sixteen, but may be an advantage being that there is only 1 day in b/t for preparation. We just need to feed Tasmin in healthy doses and hope he makes his chippy shots that he is accustomed to. I dont see anyone capable of shutting down Marcus so its all on him to have a hot game. We should beat this team by at least 5 points. Hopefully we can get an easy game and rest the team for Carolina.

He's not quite as imposing as many other post players we've faced. And I wouldn't consider your statement accurate. While we've certainly had our fair share of problems with post players which team doesn't have atleast one guy that's in the 6'8" 220 range? They haven't all dominated us.
