I don't know why anyone would dislike Pearl. He seems to be a enthusiastic basketball coach. He certainly hasn't done anything against LSU.

With this LSU team, UNC and Oklahoma are better matchups than Duke is. Duke would take Johnson and Taz outside the block and force them to play outside D. Leaving the lane "Johnsonless" for drives. UNC and Oklahoma would/does not do this.

This is entirely wrong. I'm sure some have beat me to the punch but Duke would be by far the best matchup out of UNC, OU, Pitt, and about ten other teams.

Duke has no direct advantage over LSU. Not saying we would win but there is not a single matchup disadvantage that is clear for Duke against just about anyone. They are playing well right now and while I like Henderson, Duke isn't a tougher matchup than the other teams listed.

With the new line-up, Duke poses very tough match ups. Temple will have to guard Henderson and that is not a good match-up for him. This isnt like guarding JJ. I am not sure who we ca put on Scheyer and Williams(new edition to line up). If Spencer guards Scheyer, he gives up height. If Spencer guards Williams, he gives up height and athletic ability. Taz will be forced to guard Singler. A very tough match-up for him. Look what happened when he played a versatile forward in Derrick Brown for Xavier. Brown had his way throughout the entire game. Johnson is a game changer on the inside because of his shot blocking. Duke is one of the only teams in the top 10 that will spread the D, forcing Johnson away from the basket on D thus opening the lane for drives.

Most of the top 10 force bad match-ups for LSU, but saying Duke is the best match-up out of the teams mentioned is incorrect.
