I know there’s a lot to be exited about right now with the football program. This is a crucial turning point in Brian Kelly’s tenure here at LSU. If theses recent coaching hires don’t pan out it’s gonna get ugly real fast. It’s crazy how fragile a football program really is. For the sake of LSU we really need these coaches to do well recruiting and on the field. I have confidence in Kelly as an administrator. LSU has a great opportunity to be the powerhouse of the SEC. What an exciting and scary time.

Did UGA leave? They look to be reloading. And if Ole Miss is as good as advertised, they may buy another group next year.

The entirety of your post contradicts this statement.

No it doesn’t. Nothing is guaranteed. To think this is not a huge turning point in his tenure is foolish. Kelly can’t do everything. I just hope the fan base can be patient while his staff recruits interior depth and developed them

They never are. I remember the media talking about how good Ole Miss was going to be in 2023, they were pretty good, but not championship contenders like a lot of the media thought. Next season, I think they will be pretty good, but anyone with a hint of defense will beat them, case in point, Alabama and Georgia.

Indeed. It’s why Kelly was hired. He knows how to run a program. I’m just stating how crucial it is for this coaching staff hiring is. It’s a clean slate. No one knows what’s gonna happen. Like I said. Exciting and scary

We made UGA our biatch while Kirby was there. We can do it again by keeping Louisiana players in Louisiana.

I'm not scared at all. Is it possible these guys won't work out, sure.

With that being said, Bo Davis and Kevin Peoples have as many skins on the wall both on the field and in the living room as any DL coach in the country.

We've seen how Baker can develop linebackers and also how well he plays in the recruiting game.

Corey's reputation speaks for itself.

Again, it is possible that it doesn't work out, yes. This defensive staff, however, has been upgraded at every single level both on the field and off it and that is undeniable.

I’m good with giving CBK the time to build a championship program. He’s proven he knows what to do. Saban got eight years. CBK should be good getting at least 5.

It’s not like I agree with everything he does….I don't. It’s that he knows what he can do and gets it right a lot more than wrong.
