Yada, yada, yada. Same stuff every year.

I’m a fan and I’m excited but I’m just not buying anything about the offense until I see it against Texas.

It doesn’t matter one bit how many fans say I will believe it when I see it, though I get it.
Some fans are just trying to give you some scoop ahead of time.
“Insiders” on the 3 pay boards I belong to are all saying the same thing. All the old pass plays are gone, this offense looks amazing and all the players are excited and have bought in.
I’ve seen it at the gridiron scrimmage. Everyone there was giddy and all I spoke to said they couldn’t remember ever being so excited about an LSU scrimmage.
The pass completion percentage was something I’ve never seen before. Burrow looked great, but the surprise was how great Brennan looked also.
There was NO downside, including the running game. I am glad the freshman RBs are coming in though.
I am not saying we will beat Bama, because they run a similar quick pass RPO offense, and have 5 stars galore on offense and defense.
I am saying our great athletes will have a chance to beat them this year, not held back by an outdated scheme.
Again, I get it. Show me state, etc. Sure it’s always possible that O will reinstate the old offense in the fall, I’ve seen stupider things from Miles, but I’m 61 years old and would not be taking the time to post this except to say, people are trying to bring some legitimate scoop.
The “I don’t believe you guys because I was told for 10-12 years in a row that we were finally going to have a great offense(I was there and fell for it way too often myself)” actually only have to wait 5 more months.
See you in Tiger Stadium.

This is an outstanding post, sir.
I'm not too worried about this. I think he realizes that 2019 is the show me year and I don't think he can get away with being conservative.
I 100% believe that people passing along info are being genuine. My point is simple, it's very hard to judge the success of a new offense in spring practice. Especially considering that we are missing key pieces on defense due to injury, it's tough to tell how the success of 14 practices in Spring will translate to SEC play.

He needs to quit dancing so much before the games and start focusing on tackling the qb. Look st his stats last year (not good).

Great comment.

For guys like Rohan, Hester, and Fehoko, no, is is not so difficult. Particularly when it is a sea change - not a tweak.

You have repeated this probably 40 times over the past few days.

And the Nega's have repeated, "we've heard this BS for the past 12 years"... 200 times.

For some, yeah.
If the offense is explosive, the defense is going to suck
If the offense is not explosive, the offense sucks.
It's the same pattern for the past 12 years.
I want to see some of the new guys, will make my own determinations and keep it to myself. Regardless of what happens today, there will be endless arguments about how "we suck"

I will be interested in what you take away from the game. I was in the minority last year when I said I liked what the offense was trying to do. For whatever reason, it didn't really translate to the fall and they didn't really run the same stuff. But, that's in the past and spring is time to look toward next season. It should be a good one.

Well, this thread can die now.
