And Lee and JJ's YPA are virtually identical. Terrible stat for both players.

The fumbles kill drives, just like INTs. He handed McNeese State a TD fumbling inside our own 5 to start the game.

He fumbled on basically three consecutive drives against Vandy including the first offensive play of the game, and we went 3 and out in all 3. He got bailed out on two of those with teammates jumping on top of them.

The fact is just like his propensity to take drive killing sacks, JJ hurt his team just like Lee did as a Freshman, yet JJ was doing it as a senior where the coaches were intentionally calling the games to minimize turnovers. With Lee in 2008, they "let er rip!" and we saw what happened.

It's amazing how with how shitty Lee and our offense was in 2008, we still rushed for 167 yards per game with a defense that resulted in us having to be forced to play catchup many games.

Has any fan base ever freaked out this much and whined and cried and blamed the cops, media, Marines, FBI, victims etc etc over a player with similar credentials?

this is not about credentials....it's about circumstances. it doesn't suprise me that you would miss such an obvious point and it also doen't suprise me that the only douche bigger than Lowery in this fiasco has proven to be you.

With more snaps
took 9 sacks in his 2.5 games in 08 compared to lees 8 sacks all season. But half of his sacks are bc he takes off running too early.

Well aren't sacks factored into his rushing statistics? bit of a misnomer in that regard
this is true, I got more aggravated with his 1 yard scrambles after 2 seconds in the pocket than anything else.

yes, this is really about you defending the unfairly treated young black man. Doesnt matter if he's an athlete or not.

It's very frustrating. I think he's somewhat improved here but he still freaks out way to early at times.

he has absolutely improved in this aspect.

I'm still a fan of letting our rbs run the ball and qbs throw it. I don't like my qb getting hit if possible which is why I hate options but that is a personal preference

we returned 4/5 of the OL from the 07 team, and the new starter is now in the NFL. not to mention a beast of a blocking FB. what's amazing that Crowton was asking a RS freshman QB to throw that much.

the D was bad, but spraying the ball all over the place and turning it over didn't help their cause.

JJ may not have been an effective passer but his other attributes added an extra deminsion to the offense that defenses had to account for.

Remember JL's turnover ratio, throwing off his back foot, poor throws and bad decisions under pressure........made him much more the liability. When things broke down, he wasn't capable of creating plays with his arm or feet. JJ could at least do one of those and was less likely to turn it over.

With JL in the game, and no run threat from the QB, it will be much easier to defend against LSU scheme wise. That isnt to say JL cant have a breakout year. My opinions are based on scheme and past performance, not expectations.

If JL does perform like I believe/hope he is capable of, this offense could explode.

dude it is the fact that jj is not being treated fairly, in this whole mess. of course, i dont want him in at qb, but that dosent mean i want an lsu tiger to to get treated this way over a fight at a bar

This is obvious to everyone who isn't a drooling moron or an obvious troll. You choose what category you want to put the BBQ clown into.

The team might miss his running threat at times but the qbs aren't far apart in ability lee maybe having happy feet and throwing the ball up for grabs where jj drops back back back and takes a sack.

Neither are perfect but it sucks arse for a good kid and LSU tiger to go down because of a fricking bar fight likely started by a douchebag on par with the original poster in this thread.

Disagree. Won't see much stacking the box with lee in. If they do, he'll make them pay for it. Same with mett.
