Somehow the Cheerleaders have to get in on it and help. The one side Aussie the other side oi is definitely the way it needs to be.

Australians do use it in competitive sports, that's why. And I think the first instinct is that Ole would sound better on TV. (And you can work Aussie into it...)
Nothing wrong with doing oi oi oi, especially since that seems to be specifically what Wing has in mind. But, even that chant is originally derived from Europe.

Looked on his twitter and saw where he replied to you. You should update your OP to make sure everyone knows it's the Aussie Aussie Aussie and not olé. I saw this idea a few weeks ago on here, but nothing ever came of it. Cant wait for the Florida arse whoopin.

FYI I already did this...Me and the Posse did it last game, but no one joined. Half the students don't even know he's australian or get the chant.
