Not sure if Jay will continue this much during the season but he’s absolutely experimenting with it. I expect to see it more than in years past.
We have the guys to do this with. Specifically Dickinson has really good range and plenty of arm strength so this may be easier for us than many others

I think it’s is becoming more common

and honestly it’s one of those insanely common sense things.

If you put your rangiest Defender on that’s side because most RHH are sending grounders that way, why not flip them for lefties

And the downside of course
is the arm strength issue because usually your SS has the best range and a better arm. but situationally is that an issue?
