I see a lot of complaints about saturday such as the def coordinators, qb and such.

The bottom line is that LSU did not establish the run or stop the run. blame who you want...O line, scott, D line, coordinators....but you need to establish the run, especially with a young QB on the road in the SEC.

sure Lee made some throws in the 2nd half at Auburn but LSU had established the run with Scott.

Look at all the fish Big 12 teams that throw it around all game but can never win a big game.

You win championships but running the ball and stopping the run.

It was the play of both lines. I'm quite sure the coaching staff has picked up on this.

really dude??? I don't care if we had H. Walker and Barry sanders running for us with the Patriots' '07 O-line blocking for them...We still would not have been able to put enough points on the board to make up for our defensive struggles!

offense put more pressure on itself and defense by not establishing the run (controlling the clock, scoring etc)

defense DID NOT STOP THE RUN.

So, Danny McCray "setting" the ball to Harvin on 3rd and 12 for a 75 yard UF score didn't set the tone for UF I guess the running game came first for them

that makes zero sense.
if LSU was running the ball then Fla
(a) would not have had enough possesions to score 44 offensive points
(b) LSU would have scored much more as it would have moved the chains and opened up the passing game

If LSU had put a good drive together and scored at least 3...instead of a 3 and out.....then the momentum of the tip play would have been erased....esp at 7-7.

i hate to see the coaches put the handcuffs on the QB to start the game because they are afraid of him making mistakes. We all know that a freshman QB is gonna make 'em. It was obvious the game plan was to establish the run and only throw safe passes to start. That sounds good, BUT, it is my observation you can't help but communicate to your QB that you are afraid of him making a mistake, he becomes afraid of making a mistake, and tightens up - those first couple of safe passes looked awful.

But, hey , they are the coaches, and they get paid. I like them, I trust them - they had a plan.

I hope the coaches will show their confidence in Lee by just letting him rip. I think he can be a good one.
