So, if it wasnt Jefferson, then why hasnt the guilty party stepped forward to exhonerate Jefferson? Think about how Jefferson would feel that another player, probably 2nd/3rd stringer is still on the team and gets to play and is responsible for potentially ruining his career?

Do you really think Jefferson is going to sit idle by and watch his only chance to lead LSU to the BCS game splip away? No, id bet JJ throws the kid under the bus in a heartbeat to save his own arse.

The fact that this hasnt happeed logically tells me it probably was JJ.
Assuming the perp was a football player, and assuming that Jefferson knows that the teammate did it, do you think Jefferson would roll over on a teammate?

What if it was Lee instead of Jefferson. Do you think Lee would roll over on a teammate?

Is it rolling over to not go down in flames for something someone else did by stating that they did it?

I think the moral wrong would be on the one trying to make you take the rap for something he did.

Yes. That is precisely what rolling over on a teammate means.

I completely agree.

It's fairly evident BRPD had nothing from the start and hoped to obtain a kicker with pressure from the 2 arrests.
This didn't work and BRPD trumped the JJs' attorney hush play with the DNA fiasco.
I doubt the JJs' camp figured on this being drawn out so long and expected missing one or 2 games at most.

I still believe he is guilty because of a compelling account I heard from one of Lowery's friends that makes the most sense and covers the most ground for the duration of the night.

acgeaux129, I would love to read that account of the events. Anyway you would be willing to post it?

Is this story where Lowery's friend says that Lowery's ex-girlfriend was dancing with guys to make Lowery jealous?

Sorry, that guy is NOT credible . . .

Remind me.

Is this the account where Lowery, while traveling alone down the street minding his own business, came flying in like Superman to save another person's life as it was in peril by the ravage beating at the hands of our overaggressive football team?

There is a perfectly logical explanation for that: The LSU football team members do not know the name of the kicker and can't identify him.

Consider the evidence:
1. A video that positively identifies Jefferson in the bar wearing a light colored shirt.
2. A video that positively identifies Lowery on the ground being kicked.
3. A video that positively identifies the kicker wearing a dark colored shirt.

From those videos we can conclude that Jefferson was not the kicker in the dark colored shirt.

If you are so positive that the kicker in the dark colored shirt was an LSU player, then please, tell us who it is.

If you can't ID the kicker in the black shirt then why would you insist that an LSU player could?

I'm not here to stir up trouble. I may have come off as a shite head the past few days.

I was banned for a bit while going back and forth with a couple posters derailing a thread. So I can't do that anymore.

I hope this all gets resolved one way it another.

If JJ is innocent, he's innocent.
If he's guilty he's guilty.

Im sure it'll all come out in the end.

The testimony should be pretty interesting.

I am taking Miles stance on the issue from now on.
