And...what has that brought?
Another SEC Championship?
Bowl win against Clemson? Notre Dame?
Keeping Arkansas' SEC winless streak intact?
Lot of great things on paper don't seem to be translating to the product on the field.
So, feel free to go frick yourself.

... he's in the record books. Big fricking deal Wow. I'm pretty sure finishing top 6 in every major passing statistic in lsu history is more of an accomplishment than any thing you've ever done. But I don't know you so I can't say it's so.
Holy shite, are you JJ or his family? JJ ABSOLUTELY SUCKED as an LSU QB. There is NO OTHER WAY AROUND THAT. The dude was horrible. You sound just like JJ when he was bragging about all the wins HE LED HIS TEAM To........that HE led the team to. LMAO.
I'm not even going to waste my time on looking up stats, but saying he is in the top 6 for a lot of records for LSU is comical. Let's post the number of games he played in....why don't you do that. You can use stats to make almost anything look good, but obviously he got a lot of these meaningless stats by simply playing in so many games. Hey genius, I'm not sure you get it, but if you play in twice as many games as other players, chances are you will surpass them in numbers all the while only being slightly better than half as productive.
What a joke that you use this shite. I'll say it again, we only need minimal improvement in QB play and we will at least have a JJ type QB. There is no discussion here.

son you need to be focusing on your remedial classes rather than trying to troll a message board.
Here is what Miles has brought us. More than 10 wins a year for the last 10 years. Three West titles, 2 SEC Championships, 1 NC and 1 NC appearance, and multiple bowl wins, including several high level bowl wins. I'd gladly take that same level of achievement over the next 10 years. The fact that we have ignorant little kids like you on here posting about shite that's so far over your head is comical.

And...what has that brought?
LSU is 4th in the conference and 19th in the country in wins since 2012, despite losing 13 underclassmen to the 2013 and 2014 NFL Drafts.
So I'm curious as to what you believe to be the "product on the field...."

LOL
I have been going to LSU football games for over 30 years and have has season tickets for over 20. I have seen the good, the bad, and the downright shitty.
Miles is a stat whore's dream in terms of his "numbers." However, if you are satisfied with the mediocrity since 1/9/12, CLM and the Athletic Department will be glad to continue to put it on the field for you.

write history and make their case that JJ was a horrible QB
he was, it is not debatable

such as against Bama in the '11 regular season game, he came in when JL was having a rough time and gave us exactly what his coaches asked of him. And we won
so many of you JJ lovers like to use this game. He completed one pass (that was badly, badly underthrown) to a wide open receiver that should have been a touchdown....but since he had to go back for it, we settled for a field goal. Yep, LSU won 6-3.
The funny thing is if you go back and watch that game.....JL started the game off good...completing passes for first downs on the first drive (I believe 2 or 3 first downs.) Then he threw a bad interception....and promptly sat the bench for a long period of time. The FIRST play later in the game that he is re-inserted, they drew up a play for him to throw it deep down the center of the field (genius play call). The result was he never stepped on the field again in a meaningful way for LSU....despite having led or near the top of the SEC in passing efficiency for that year. I'm a Miles fan, but on that day, imo, Miles got exactly what he wanted back in there....a terrible running qb.

but stop with the "LSU QB is going to suck crap". You have no idea.
Where have I said it would suck????? I have said it will depend on how well the qb play is to see where this team ends up......

You're shitting on lsu football when you say JJ sucked his entire career because he is top 6 in every major passing statistic in lsu history. You can't suck your entire career and finish top 6 in every major passing statistic at a top 15 alltime program. THE NUMBERS ABOVE ARE NOT MY OPINIONS. THEY ARE FACTS.
Just seeing this JJ.
I know you weren't smart, but I didn't think you would put yourself out there this way. Wow
Again, you do realize that these incredible stats you are presenting came from him starting games as a freshman all the way through his senior year right? Wouldn't he also rank near the top in the last 30-40 years as having played the most games as a QB? Why didn't you use that stat?
6th in career completion %- yes usually he would have 100 yard games because he threw 5 yard passes.
5th career td passes- longevity
6th in passing yards - longevity
5th in total offensive yards - longevity
5th in total tds - longevity
1st in career qb rushing - LOL
1st in single season qb rushing - LOL
For ANYONE to put in this much time compiling this data tells me you are either JJ or one of his family members or padnahs.
Newsflash, if AJ starts and plays all his games over the next 2 years, he will have these stats also......let that sink in dumbass.

There will be no excuse for poor QB play this year.

No I haven't. I have said they had POOR qb play last year.... And yes at times it sucked... But this year I have repeatedly said it will DEPEND on how well the qb play is to see where this team goes... This team has a shitload of talent and could be special... It just depends on QB play............
Posted on 7/26/15 at 10:34 am to dukke v
And O-line play, which I'll say has underperformed in recent years.

Yeah, but JL didn't have the embarrassing nudes of CLM that JJ had.
How can y'all all leave out the most important detail here?

I swear, but we have some dumb bunnies who post on the Rant.

Where this team ends up will be decided a hell of a lot more on the play of the two lines than on
one fricking guy.
We went 10-3 with an NFL type QB and 13-1 with two below average college QBs. Did that tell you nothing about what can be a deciding factor in football?
Why do think since 2011 we have a new OL and DL coaches? I am not saying QB isn't important, but its not this vital factor we cant be successful without that some push here on a regular basis.
That there is fricking thread after fricking thread dealing with QBs and almost nothing on the lines play makes me

Your average Ranter couldn't name our starting five last year.

LOfrickingL at you thinking that JJ was a good QB.

LB's & QB, if Harris get control within the 1st 2 games its game on, Auburn will be the 1st true test.

..then of course the massive bed shitting when he played Alabama again.

Go back and watch the game again. The oline was total crap that game. shite blocking, NO blocking it was horrible. Bama front 7 spent the whole game in the backfield. Like I said before, Peyton Manning and Emmitt Smith couldn't have done anything when you have no protection. THAT was the difference in the game.
