Blue chip ratio & teams that can win a CFB national championship in 2023

Matt mascona recently released a video discussing teams that are included in the blue chip ratio.
The blue chip ratio basically shows teams that have more than 50% of their roster as 4 or 5 star players. It claims that teams that have fewer than half of their scholarship players as 4 or 5 star recruits cannot win a national championship- no exceptions. Since 2013 (when the blue chip ratio was created) the list has never been proven wrong.
These are the teams that are included in the blue chip ratio for 2023:
Alabama 90%
Ohio State 85%
Georgia 77%
Texas A&M 73%
Clemson 72%
LSU 71%
Texas 70%
OU 70%
Oregon 67%
Notre Dame 65%
UF 64%
UMiami 61%
Penn State 55%
Michigan 54%
USC 52%
Auburn 51%
Thought it was pretty interesting. Also no FL state.

You can look farther than 2013 and it holds true - 20+ years.

Haven’t watched the video but seems like the transfer portal/transfers throws a giant monkey wrench into that equation.

Yeah there’s not enough data to see how transfers have an impact, but so far it seems that transfers don’t impact it much
