1988 vs. auburn was a pretty big one. i think that was a 1pm kickoff on tbs.

when we beat florida in 97 it was a 11:30 kickoff.

I swore that was a night game.

Wrong on both start times...I was there in 1988, and it was at night. Florida was an early start, around 6.

you are definately wrong.

plus, i left the tennessee game in 2000 off the list because they were really over rated. probably one of the most fun cbs games yet though.

I wasn't there, and didn't even see it on tv (I was working in Yemen at the time), but here is what the LSU Football Vault says about that game:

quote:

LSU fans voted this as the most memorable night game in Tiger Stadium history.

I actually had tickets, but I played HS football and our only Saturday night game of the year was that day, and I remember the score being announced periodically. It might have been an early kickoff, but I swear it was evening.

just because it was a high scoring double overtime game that took forever and finished when it was dark doesn't make it a night game.

You are getting your games confused...this was not an overtime game...the final score in regulation was LSU 28-21

I know that was an afternoon game, the games in question were the 1997 Florida and 1988 Auburn games

The only time LSU has beaten a #1 team at Tiger Stadim is in 97 against UF. Pretty sure that was a day game.

Nope this was a definitely a night game. I was there and definitely the greatest game I saw in Tiger Stadium.

Apparently they were, because everyone but you knows they were played at night
