The biggest weakness on this Lsu team is lack of senior leadership. I am extremely proud of our standout juniors who are declaring early, because they have done what most extraordinary athletes can barely accomplish in four years in only three. I can't point to anyone except Simon and Ford and say, "That guy shouldn't go pro." But you know what, maybe we'll have junior leadership, and if a good guy like a Shep or Sam steps up and is a great leader and mouthpiece for the team, I'd love to learn about them and stand behind them. And I'd bet the team feels that way about their potential leaders as well.
To say we don't have any go-to receivers is a shitty thing to say. Landry is ridiculous, and last year WAS HIS FIRST YEAR STARTING. OBJ is going to be great too. Don't judge our receivers based on a year with a first year starter at Qb, and an offensive line wrecked with injuries. This is their year, whether it's the same OC or not, they get a senior Qb, they each have a full year of starting exp now, and they are going to wreck shite this year. There are a lot of teams with one guy who's better than OBJ or Landry, but there aren't a lot who's second reciever is better than either one of them. I'd take OBJ vs a team's 1st CB and Landry vs a team's number 2 CB over any one receiver in the nation.
