Ditto, better than advertised. Clutch with a big leg. Hope he is rewarded with the Lou Groza award and ends up on a NFL roster next season.

I believe both will happen

Stomping Georgia surprised me.
2. Not scoring on Bama surprised me.
3. I figured we would use the tight ends more in the passing game.
4. Our kick/punt return game is the worst I've seen here in a long while.
5. QB running successfully was a nice surprise.
6. Talking horse shite all season about A&M, then chocking on a dick didn't surprise anyone.

- Kris Fulton getting to play
- Nick Brosette - 922 yds, 14 TDs so far. read that again
- Delpit becoming maybe the best defender in CFB
- Cushenberry being way more effective at C than this board thought
- Justin Jefferson being waaaay out in front as the leading WR
- Ed Alexander holding up all year
The not so good surprises
- Giles contributing next to nothing
- Chris Curry either

Not the biggest surprise, but the lack of contribution from Giles. We got nothing from him.

That’s a huge surprise. The staff awarded number 7 because of what they expected from him.

1. Seeing actually how good Delpit is. He's a season away from being right in the middle of the GOAT LSU safety convo.
2. LB play of Phillips and Queen. The UF game showed how much of an impact Phillips brings to this defense. Queen seems to have great instincts and is very fast, just overruns tackles. We are in good shape at LB for next year even if we lose Devin.
3. Fulton was more than as advertised. Took him a few games to shake the rust off but he was targeted a lot and had a great season. Proud of the kid for overcoming adversity and rising to the occasion. (Congrats MudBone
)
4. Little Fournette should have got more touches throughout the year. Nick and Clyde were nice in glimpses but lacked the elite speed we've had at the position to make their own plays. Lanard has a shot to be on 2020 draft boards with a good off season and if he gets used more. Why the frick were screen passes not going to him? Mind numbing.
I look forward to improved O Line play, kick and punt return, better stable of Running backs, better WR play and a more experienced been there done that Joe Burrow running the offense next year.

A fricking Kentucky fan talking shite to LSU about football.
Priceless.
Priceless.

Lanard Fournette with more TDs and yards than Giles. And that holds true even if you include all of Giles return yards.

- Whipping Georgia!!!
- Our OLine struggling in almost every game.
- I thought our DLine would make more plays
- Cole Tracy was a nice surprise
- Our punt return game being almost a zero. We are used to having studs back there that can pop one at any minute.
- I was hoping our offense would have been able to create more explosive plays and just be more dunamic in general.
Overall I am happy with the way 2018 has turned out. Looks like we're headed to a NY6 Bowl game, which we haven't done in a while.

Avery Atkins has been outstanding on kickoffs.

what has been the biggest surprise for you this season
how the offensive coordinator could be soooo wrong about the strength of his offense.

Racey McMath not being more of a factor as a receiving tight End.

You were probably crying like a little bitch over Giles Saturday
He made a mistake. He's human. I won't bash him for that. I will question the coaches for continually putting him in a position to fail.

LSU fans are perfect and don't make mistakes so the football players aren't allowed to make mistakes either.

Based on this board no. A lot of posters were acting like by him playing it gave LSU an extra win or two. If anything he under-performed the expectations of the board.
We beat A&M if he is out there, may have lost more with out him.
