The Holier than Thou approach is getting old. I don't like oversigning but some of these people acting like they're concerned about the players is hypocrisy. They are just tired of the SEC's dominance. And I think JUCO's are great for guys who need to get their grades up or a second chance like Cam or Mett. The argument in the oversigning.com article was weaker than puppy piss.

agreed.
its up to the rules committee. pancaking a QB with intent to maim.
its no different that the bs about helmet to helmet.
you can TACKLE a guy without using your helmet to hit his helmet. Anyone who claims that they cannot do a tackle with wrapup is lying.

What do the Big 10 student athlete geniuses major in? Most, if not all, of the schools with Division I athletics have degree plans that help the athletes.

What's the difference between "prep schools" in the north and JUCO's in the south?

Wasn't there an Auburn running back that sued Auburn after he left because he was functioanlly illiterate?

Have better academics and they will stop.
Most SEC fans will admit that their school is academically unequal to most Big 10 schools though, Big 10 Fans have the nerve to put their school on the same level as SEC schools in football and that's just blatantly wrong.

The Big 10 people I know and I know lots of them admit that the SEC is overall a superior football conference.
They also believe that most of the students including athletes in SEC schools, Vandy excepted, couldn't get into Big 10 schools. There is little doubt that in most of the SEC states high schools aren't nearly as good as their counterparts in Big 10 states.

U Mich QB Denard Robinson - Kinesiology Major LINK
Spend some time looking at the Big 10, Vanderbilt, Notre Dame, Rice and Stanford rosters and you'll see the same thing.

big ten and sec have the same head to head record in the bcs era.
but hell, everybody go on and ignore that like always. keep saying things like, "beat the sec and will listen to you"
yawn

The Big10 is an outdated, out-moded, inferior, yet pompus conference, with the hubris to match.
Legends and Leaders, I tell ya.
Back it up with some titles in recent history. In the last 20 years you have exactly 2. Michigan in 1997 (which was split with Nebraska - who is not yet in the Big10) and OSU in 2002. That's it. In fact, when you consider that Penn St. didn't join the Big10 until '89 or '90 or whatever it was, that's all you've got in the last FORTY plus years. Taking all that into consideration, you have to go back to 1968 to find a school that was a member of the conference at the time winning a title - OSU in 1968.
In the same time frame, the SEC has 13 with three splits, with six of those coming in the last decade, and five consecutive.
