John Brady is coming back to LSU ! And Tack Minor is going to be an asistant coach. LSU goes to the final four next year with Ludwig, Spencer, Malcolm White, and 6 walk-ons.

Trent needs to sell this program, I know he's not the most engaging person but he needs to relate to the fans and then of course WIN.

Basketball is actually a bargain with no TAF fees involved as of yet.

Trent looks like the type of coach that jumps every five years or so. In this day and age, I don't think there's anything wrong with that.

There's no loyalty anymore. It's all about leveraging your situation to get your share of the pie.

True. I agree I wish he would beat the drum so to speak.

There are TAF fees behind the scenes if you want to move below the 300 level.

Yeah, we knew he wasn't a rah rah type guy coming into this. As much as I like Trent, this program really needed that type of guy due to apathy. In the end, Trent will be fine if he brings some consistency to the program.

All it takes is winning. That cures everything. Not need for rah-rah when there is a successful team on the court.

... and I am laughing at all the Oregon and Boise rumors.

Why would this be a big setback if he goes? It's not like we are a good team right now?

So what about great recruits coming in, that does not promise success!

Not really except for past success.

I hope he isn't leaving. But if he does, we have a GREAT institution that is a top tier position in a top conference in the nation at a school that is willing to pay.

Think about the talent pool of coaches that we have to choose from at the PERFECT time of year to steel and up and coming start or a proven veteran from all of these teams on display this week.

That hire would keep the fire burning and make the recruits coming in very excited to be part of LSU.

It wouldn't hurt us IMO if the hire is a quick one and a great rising coaching start.

What's the number to Gonzaga?

Well, there doesn't seem to be much and that goes for the coach and the school.

Glen Gilbeau came on Jimmy's show and said he talked to Trent about the Boise rumor. Said coach laughed at the question and was really surprised anyone would put stock in it to begin with. He said he was out recruiting for LSU and not BSU.
