You could in Louisiana, 18. But in Nam you had to be 21, but they never asked Officers to prove their age they always served them regardless. The guy who trained me was 1 year younger than me, a great great pilot.

I would give my Crew Chief my shirt and hat, had name and rank, of course hat had rank, he was under 21, then he could buy all the beer he wanted to take back to the Crew Chief Hootch.

What culture is 20 considered a kid?

The one where:
-You can't legally purchase or consume alcohol until you're 21
-You can't rent a car (or at least rent one without substantial restriction) until you're 25
-You have the option to remain on your parents health insurance as a dependent until you're 26

There are, without question, things we should require of 20 year-old persons in our society, but to assume they are fully formed individuals is incorrect. Most human brains are not fully formed until age 25 (which is the primary reason most people under 25 are idiots).

Amazing how someone can post something good, encouraging and harmless and then everyone turn it into a bash BH session. I'll take BH skill set, leadership and arm any day of the week. He's gonna kill it next year!
