Assuming LSU wins their first 5 games of the season next year the 2019 recruiting class (Stingley, Brooks, etc) will have begun their college careers going 20-0. Has their been any other LSU class to start that well? What about a class that started 15-0 or something closer to that mark?

All great teams have always beaten Bama twice

LSU has ended streaks in 2018 (UCF) 2019 (Clemson) and

2020 will see us end a most important streak

Add:

That 74-72 TAMU theft hurt the streak

LSU’s Active Streak now is 16 wins
Beat Texas and we tie 58/59 squad at 18 w
Beat Florida and we’re at 22 wins
Beat Bama and we’re at 25 wins
Beat Auburn we’re at 27 wins
Beat TAMU we’re at 28 wins
Dare I go farther

From what I can see, These are the top 4 starts for any class.

1958-1959 18 Straight wins (11-0 1958 NC won first 7 in 59, lost to Tennessee 14-13 in Knoxville)

2019-2020 15 Straight so far 15-0 2019 NC

1908-09 13 straight wins (10-0 1908 NC won first 3 in 09, lost to Sewanee in NOLA 15-6)

2011 13 Straight wins (you know what happened next)
