They were down 14-34 starting the fourth. Didn't look promising for my Tigers that night.

I was at the '88 Bama game. Down 0-15 and came back to win 19-18. Their Kicker (Doyle if I remember correctly) missed a long one at the very end. My fav part was Tony Moss fingering Bama fans sitting in end zone seats as he scored a long Td pass from Hodson. I remember certain Gumps booing and pointing to the field after the TD. Years later I saw the You tube video and it brought back glorious memories LOL!.

Houston was probably the best along with Troy. Kevin Faulk just carried the offense and Houston ran into a blitzkrieg.

It was worse than the score indicated for the first 20+ minutes of the game. Bama completely dominated and LSU had no first downs.

The biggest shock was that Hodson had such a horrendous start. Guidry had to come off the bench to jumpstart the Tiger offense.

5 pages an no Auburn 1988? How many yards did we have before the last drive? Maybe not first but up there.
