he had to make promises to the baseballs being pitched in the game… he would never forget and the ones that went the farthest, loudest, and damag-est would get special remembrance, coverage, snd special places in all of lsu hearts… no, but seriously, he was a great player… 1986 cws, lsu vs miami, he already had 2 homers in the game, and when he came up again late, miami had the lead, but he hit a monster blast to deepest center field, and it went over the wall, but the miami outfielder grabbed it before it went to far, and came back to the field with the ball in his glove… and lsu lost, their first lost in omaha i think… belle was a one man wrecking crew, but he was definitely an lsu tiger…

I believe they called it 106 off the bat. By rule of thumb it’s 4’ per mph. So some where in the 424’ range. Probably around the pine trees.
