1997 against that junkball pitcher from bama. scored 6 runs in the first. Dude did not record a single out and was crying like a baby in the dugout. Even more sweet after they destroyed the Tigers earlier in the season. Payback.

Unfortunately, I was at the game at Bama, where we got beat by like 26. That was really fun to sit through with a bunch of Bama fans. Made the CWS championship even sweeter though.

The Morris homerun is the obvious answer here, but the Stanford game was special because I was there. My only CWS thus far, though I may go this year.

Best CWS moment??

i have to go ahead and say 1996 CWS when Warren Morris hit the walk of homer against Miami,

Way to go out on a limb there.

Why would this even be up for debate?

because if you read the other replies, everyone has their own favorite moment..even if the Warren Morris homerun is their favorite too it always reminds you of what you were doing when it happened..its hard to believe it was 13 years ago!!

Morris home run was my favorite, but Laxton's was the most relaxed I have ever been during a LSU championship game.

I think it was 93. We were playing the Dirtbags of Long Beach State and we came back to win after LBS came back on us. I believe Todd Walker had the game winning hit.
