You guys lack some serious reading comprehension skills.

The point that was being made was that everyone on the planet knew what was wrong with our offense. Miles would never acknowledge it nor would he ever make a serious attempt to fix anything.

That's the difference between he and O. O in about a years time has identified nearly every single issue with our program, discussed it openly, and addressed it quickly.

No one is telling him to listen to the fans. He sees it for himself. That's what became so frustrating with Miles in the back half of his career. He would never answer anything directly and rarely addressed any glaring problem.

Thanks. We all were wondering when you'd finally enlighten us with your opinion about Ed O

Also, having this as a sig quote is just going to hurt any argument you try to make.

Comparing these situations is impossible. We were sold on continuity, not a rebuild.

Really?

Herman was a program he established for half of this. Fisher is at a program he has established.

Meanwhile, Ed O took over a lifeless program with no offense midseason and went 6-2 (and broke records in the process). He took over a program that has probably the worst reputation on the planet with regard to QB's and offense and a program that had significant gaps in it's roster.

Which, IMO, makes the job O is doing even more impressive. But keep telling yourself there wasn't a rebuild involved if it makes you feel better.

Everyone on here cried saying that LSU was equal in talent to Alabama but it was ONLY the coaching holding us back.

Orgeron gets the job, loses to Troy and then the narrative changes that the program doesn't have talent and we need to rebuild.

Hahaha... is this what you are convincing yourself?

Anyone with a brain knows that in the last 5 years, that we are equal in talent at certain positions, but have not been on the lines. Anyone with a brain knows that without an above average QB, it's nearly impossible to beat them.

So, did you expect O to snap his fingers and change the culture of the QB position overnight? Did you expect QB's to magically appear on the roster?

If that was your expectation, perhaps we should have hired you?

What? Les lost by 30 to MSU? And at home to Troy?

Thanks for the info! I did not know this. Changes everything.

Coach Eaux must NOT Geaux now with this new information

Looks like cra_cra is another paid shill. I don't mind the AD paying people to try to influence people on message boards (political parties do it on news sites). It's just that this stuff is so obvious and unconvincing. I'd like to know what was budgeted for shills and where the money comes from, e.g. tuition, special Athletic Department fees, etc. Hopefully this is just two guys using multiple alters getting paid minimum wage along with a few random guys not affiliated with LSU chiming in.

Shill... lol, you people!

I'm sorry that you live in a land of negativity and hate everything around you. Must be a miserable life.

Meanwhile, I'm gong to be positive and enjoy our coaches and our team. If O doesn't do what needs to be done, things will take care of themselves. Until that time, I'm going to enjoy my tigers.

Sorry that's so difficult for you to do!

Oh and btw, if you and Voodoo are so convinced I'm part of the staff, or whatever, how about we put something on the line? A wager perhaps?

shite, give me 10 bucks a day and I'll be an O pumper

I'll just hit the same three or four talking points they do, guilt trip fans for wanting what's best for LSU, and use our process to defend the process.

"Of course our offense didn't click to start the year, we hired a new coordinator! These things take time. Best staff in the country, baby!"

:coordinator inevitably leaves and is replaced:

"Another great hire! Gotta give him time to get his players/system in place!"

That's a great start, NawlinsTiger9. Those are the stage 1 opening comments. When someone contests the stage 1 comments, move to stage 2 by accusing the respondents as being "negative, miserable people." If you are in to flair, you can also say they are "STUPID" and their positions are "BS" without any support to your positions.

Stage 3 is Space Cowboy territory where you trash the players on the team so you can make excuses for O and then tell everyone that you hope Orgeron stays coach for 12 years regardless of results to make everyone miserable.

Do you think coaches like Saban give a damn about what the fans think? Have you seen a Nick Saban press conference?

Why would you expect your coach to listen to the fans? This seems like a really strange thing to get upset about.

what fan would argue his results? The whole world could identify what Miles was doing wrong and nothing was done to fix it, that is a major problem.. Miles results are no where near Sabans, hence criticism was justified..

If they were smart they would state some fair criticisms of Orgeron once in a while to throw us off the scent.

Boy aren't you embellishing things... and that public "trashing" managed to inspire the young man to go on and make 8 straight field goals, and not go out and kill 25 people with an AR.

You obviously have NEVER EVER played sports, and most certainly have never coached.

Yeah, O gets credit for all those field goals after shitting all over the kid to the media.

You want criticism.....

Orgeron's "strength" is recruiting. This years class is below expectations. Will he turn it around and finish strong? Can he change the culture of the QB position and consistently recruit top QB's?

We haven't seen this yet. Will we? I'd have him on a very short leash with regard to recruiting.

Can he keep good relationships with his coordinators and not have to turn them over too frequently. time will tell.

Again, go back to the original post.... these are the things I would keep an eye on closely.
