I'm not sure how people forget this. Mainieri got rid of half the team and put in his guys. Next thing you know we are in omaha. Then we go to omaha and win it all! PM is a great coach. Right now the best guess is youth and supporting staff.

a certain team at LSU had the 4th youngest team in the nation...and the excuse of youth and freshman at key positions was shrugged off saying we had a terrible coach and shitty players who will never amount to anything. Don't make fricking excuses for these freshman just because they play precious baseball

I would rate CPM as the 4th possibly 5th best coach in the SEC, with Corbin, Sullivan and Tanner leading the way. Despite the obvious success of the NC year, his teams have been far too streaky for my taste.

That's why I said it's my best guess. I have no fricking idea why we are losing. I'm just as curious as you. We need to change whatever it is because we have the talent to win.

I can live with that, but he is still prob a top 10 coach in the country, the SEC is absolutely loaded with great coaches, you could easily put Mainieri in any spot 1-4 right now
