I say keep those three aforementioned names in the starting lineup at linebacker and use Welter as a backup. Nothing obvious here, to this point. Was it just me or did the freshman d linemen look pretty good tonight? Hmm...That may solve some interior line problems we have. I think we're fine on the ends with Hunter and Rasco. Maybe CLM should play these younger freshmen more. And soon?

I was happy to see Bain and Gilmore for sure

Bain, Gilmore, and Godchaux all did pretty well. Pretty sure they only had 2 runs go for over 4 yards, besides the big one they busted (thanks again, DJ).

Godchaux has been the best interior d lineman IMO.

I think people writing off the three red shirt freshman are imbeciles. All three are incredibly physically gifted, it's just all about learning technique and getting accustomed to how football is played in the SEC. With Bain, Herron, Gilmore, Lacatour, Godchaux, Valentine, Neal, and LMFAO at DT for the next several years we'll be just fine.
